Jeff Davis bought Shuford's Smokehouse back on January 13th, 1986 from Shuford Johnson. He kept the name because he didn't think "Jeff's BBQ" sounded good. He smokes all our meat with hickory wood in Southern Pride smokers. His sauce is a secret recipe that only he knows. Jeff is the only one who makes it. 

Our restaurant use to be an old gas station back in the 1950's. The building has a lot of its original features.

We are one of the few original Chattanooga staples that's still family owned and operated.
